Hope Bags of Michigan is looking for donations of Sam's Club and Walmart gift cards. We will use all gift cards to purchase supplies for Hope Bags, and lunch meat for sandwiches. You can buy gift cards online or in the store or send them to the address below.

At Hope Bag Of Michigan, our mission is to provide dignity, comfort, and hope to individuals experiencing homelessness in our community. We believe that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and valued, regardless of their circumstances.

We are dedicated to creating and distributing Hope Bags, filled with essential items and personal care products, to those in need. Our goal is not only to meet the immediate needs of the homeless, but also to inspire a sense of hope, renewal, and possibility.

What Is A Hope Bag

A hope bag is a one-gallon zip-lock bag filled with essentials to provide comfort to people in need. Our Hope bags contain things like first aid supplies, gloves, hand warmers, hats, socks, underwear, feminine hygiene products, combs, toothpaste, toothbrushes, nail clippers,deodorant, razors, rain ponchos, snacks, and beverages.

Hope Bags of Michigan has the ability to buy in bulk directly from the manufacturer. Learn about some of the products we can buy. Most, if not all, charities buy from Walmart, Amazon, and Bulk Warehouse. We work hard to stretch out the dollar.

Examples (prices include freight charges)

$1539.60 can purchase 2500 pairs of women's wool socks.

$263.60 can purchase 500 rain ponchos.

$5431.45 can purchase 1000 pairs of mens tennis shoes.

$100 can purchase 80 of the flowing items. The items include 5 oz. cans of shaving cream, 4.6 oz.size of toothpaste, and 2 oz. size of deodorant.
